Warehouse Assistant

Location: Auckland, New Zealand
Role Type: Permanent, Full-time

We are looking for an exceptional and motivated individual to join our dynamic warehouse team within our friendly and professional manufacturing environment. This role involves general warehouse duties such as assisting with inwards and outwards goods, optimisation of warehouse storage, and cyclic stock counting.

 

This is a full-time permanent role - Monday to Friday, hours are 12 to 8:30pm

 

Key Requirements:

  • Check and receipt of inwards goods
  • Manage the cyclic stock take system and ensuring that the computer stock file is accurate for both components and finished goods
  • Load/unload trucks with use of fork hoist (training provided for successful applicant)
  • Some domestic or international shipping support as required.
  • Generally assist the team to ensure the Warehouse is working at optimum efficiency.

 

Key Skills needed:

  • Minimum 1 year in a similar environment
  • A clean, full driver’s license
  • A fork hoist license would be great but a willingness to learn and use this is a requirement
  • Reliable and responsible
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly accurate, with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage time effectively
  • Basic MS Office/computer skills
  • Hardworking, motivated work ethic with demonstrated initiative
  • Ability to work well both in a team and unsupervised to high quality.
