Production Systems Engineer
Integrated Control Technology (ICT) is a leading manufacturer of world-class integrated access control, alarm management and building automation technology.
The Production Systems Engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining systems to meet defined requirements, ensuring that system hardware and software are compatible and capable of required performance metrics. Working on key projects across departments, this role is responsible for ensuring that systems function properly once the design and implementation is completed.
The Successful Applicant:
The successful applicant will have the ability to interpret complex mechanical and technical drawings, electronic schematics and PCB designs, and possess the confidence to review and provide feedback to diverse people according to departmental needs.
As you will be responsible for delivering quality engineering solutions in a learned response according to development, hardware, manufacturing and operational needs, having a proactive, can-do attitude is essential. The ability to build relationships with a wide range of people is important, as is the ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.
You will have a relevant electronic engineering qualification, and a mechatronics background will be highly regarded.
- Aid in Jig and Fixtures design and build – mechanical design
- PCB fault finding and repair
- Software modification (C/C++)
- Provide detailed, accurate documentation
- Ability to interpret complex mechanical and technical drawings
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
