Accounts Assistant (Part-time)

We are looking for a confident and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our busy, friendly Finance team on a part-time basis. Initially the role will be 20 hours per week, however there may be future opportunity for growth and increased hours in the future.

The successful candidate will preferably have some experience in accounts and some formal training; however, this role could suit either an entry-level accounts person, or someone experienced returning to the workforce who is seeking part-time work in a positive environment. Responsibilities are varied and will include reconciliation, customer invoicing and receipting, as well as coordinating supplier payment and expenses, maintaining databases, occasional credit control and filing. 

To succeed in this role, you will require outstanding attention to detail, have exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to investigate and identify potential issues within the account’s realm. Excellent communication skills both verbally and written are a requirement, and the ability to learn software systems is very important. SAP experience would be very advantageous however training will be available.
