This pivotal role enables you to bring in your production proven experience in embedded system design to work on creating new and extended existing products alongside the current development team.
You will require good knowledge of the software development life cycle, have exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to identify, recommend and architect improvements to our existing high-quality products.
Being a life safety and security system, the role will require proven excellence and/or aptitude in the areas of requirements validation and test design and execution. This is a role that allows and requires the successful applicant to be fully engaged in all aspects of the design lifecycle.
The successful candidate will be passionate about both the hardware and software components of embedded design and be able to communicate clearly, have excellent time management skills and have the capacity to work to deadlines without constant supervision. A high level of motivation and attention to detail is required, and the ability to demonstrate ownership and initiative of assigned tasks is an essential requirement.
Experience in Secure SDLC will be an advantage.
All candidates should have experience with:
- C/C++ design for Embedded Systems
- Embedded operating systems including Windows CE, Win10 IOT Core and Linux
- Hardware schematic Design and Interpretation
Exceptional candidates will have experience with:
- NXP and Atmel processor families
- ARM 7/9 & Cortex M0 / M3 processor architecture
- GCC and GDB experience
- Visual Studio IDE
- Windows CE 6 and higher
- Win10 IOT and Linux BSP, driver and OS design, build and deploy processes
- Altium Designer
