IT Administrator

We are looking for an exceptional and motivated individual to join a dynamic, professional, and friendly team within our Head Office on Auckland’s North Shore. Integrated Control Technology (ICT) is a leading manufacturer of world-class integrated access control, alarm management and building automation technology.

We offer a culture that embraces diversity, and inclusiveness. Our diligent teams are committed and hard-working, but we like to ensure we have fun too - some of our many initiatives include an active Social Club with regular extra-curricular events, subsidised gym memberships, onsite yoga and massages once per month by professional physiotherapists. Our modern staff lunchroom has arcade games and even table tennis, a great location for our fun monthly staff social events!

The Role:

The IT Administrator will be responsible for general IT troubleshooting, installing, and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners. Providing technical support across the company, you will respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests, managing your task list using Asana, the in-house project management system. Typical tasks will include assisting with onboarding processes by setting up new accounts for new users, repairing and replacing equipment as necessary, and testing new technology. Reporting to the IT & Cybersecurity Manager, you will monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, and assist with ad-hoc duties as required.

The Successful Applicant:

We are looking for an experienced IT Administrator to join our diverse technology driven environment who is a natural problem-solver and multi-tasker, with exceptional people skills and a pro-active, positive attitude.

You will be comfortable assisting a broad range of people with varying degrees of technical understanding with both general and sometimes unique IT issues – our global team includes both highly technical engineers and developers, and staff that are far less technically savvy. Patient and practical by nature, you're able to prioritise between conflicting “urgent” requests, acting promptly where critical issues may arise. This role entails providing support both in person and by phone to staff based both in New Zealand or our global locations, and your nature is to remain calm in situations when things don’t work as planned!

Only applicants with the right to work permanently in New Zealand will be considered for this position. Successful applicants will be requested to consent to a criminal record check.

If you believe you fulfil the requirements above, please send your CV and covering letter describing the key attributes you would bring to this role to:
