Protege WX and GX Release Updates Now Available
What’s New
ICT has released software and firmware updates for the Protege platform. Protege GX received software v.4.3.352.10 and firmware v.2.08.1543, while Protege WX received v.4.00.2510. These versions include performance enhancements and powerful new capabilities.
TSL Live Over-the-Network Firmware Updates
The update enables remote firmware installation for TSL readers through the controller’s web interface. No more pulling readers off walls, rewiring, or scheduling system downtime. Readers remain operational during updates and briefly restart to activate new firmware — dramatically reducing maintenance time and cost for installers.
USB Ethernet Support
Controllers can now connect to networks via USB-Ethernet adapters, offering dual benefits: maintaining backup communication during primary network failures and enabling remote web interface access. This provides an additional layer of resilience for mission-critical installations.
