Offline operation
ICT’s data-on-card advanced wireless technology leverages update points (TSL Readers) throughout the building to maintain up-to-date access level and event reporting back to the central Protege GX command center. This means battery-life is extended for the locks without compromising security functionality.
Update Readers
An update point is a hardwired TSL card reader that is used to keep the controller and wireless locks updated. These readers are located at strategic points around the building, such as a front door or elevator, where a user frequently badges their card. As a user presents their card, the reader uploads and downloads user related information, including updates to the ‘blacklist’. These changes are written to the card and quickly spread through the system as the card is presented at each offline lock and the information stored on the lock is updated.
Available in a range of sizes, you can choose the TSL model that suits your needs and your decor.
