Protege Starter Kits

Overview

Protege Starter Kits provide everything an integrator needs to get hands-on with ICT’s Protege platform quickly and confidently. Each kit is pre-configured with a controller, reader, credentials, and supporting hardware — ready for training environments, demonstration setups, or small-scale installations.

What’s Included

Starter kits are available for both Protege GX and Protege WX platforms. A typical kit includes:

• System Controller — Pre-loaded with the latest firmware and configured for quick startup
• Card Reader — An ICT tSec reader with OSDP support for secure communication
• Credentials — A set of proximity cards or key tags for immediate testing
• Power Supply — A DIN Rail-mounted intelligent power supply sized for the included hardware
• Enclosure — A compact ICT DIN Rail enclosure to house all components
• Cabling — Pre-terminated RS-485 and power cables for fast assembly

Starter kits are the recommended hardware package for ICT’s Protege certification courses. They allow trainees to complete hands-on exercises in a controlled environment with real production hardware.
